Modern React/Next docs framework (13.3k stars, TS): headless UI + Tailwind, flexible content sources (file/MDX/remote), framework-not-site. The Next-lane successor to Docusaurus energy.
Learnings
- Headless docs UI is the inversion: Docusaurus ships a site you theme; Fumadocs ships components you compose. Better for design-owned docs, worse for zero-config adoption.
